The St. James Theatre, which opened its doors just twelve weeks ago, becoming London’s first new theatre complex in 30 years, today celebrates five Whatsonstage.com Award nominations.
- The STAR Best Actress in a Musical - Megan McGinnis – Daddy Long Legs at the St James
- Best New Musical - Daddy Long Legs by Paul Gordon & John Caird – at the St James
- The AUTOGRAPH Best Original Music - Daddy Long Legs – Paul Gordon at the St James
In addition, the St James receives two more nods for the following – a great result just a few months after opening, I’d say!
- The DEWYNTERS London Newcomer of the Year - Joshua Miles (actor) – Bully Boy at the St James
- The AKA Theatre Event of the Year - The opening of the new state-of-the-art St James Theatre on the site of the demolished Westminster Theatre
The winners will be announced on Sunday 17 February at a special ceremony and concert at the Palace Theatre in London’s West End.
