The St. James Theatre is the first newly built theatre complex in 30 years and we have designed the theatre to be easily accessible to all.
If you have any access questions or queries please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
There are up to six wheelchair spaces at the back of the main house at St. James Theatre and both levels of the studio are also accessible by wheelchair. Please inform the box office at the time of booking if you require a wheelchair space and we will ensure that everything is ready for your visit.
The St. James Theatre complex is fully wheelchair accessible. Wheelchair users can enter through the main theatre doors and from there, access the main elevator. The elevator, located beside the ground floor St. James Bar leads directly into the St. James Brasserie on the first floor and to both the gallery and floor levels of the studio.
There are three unisex wheelchair toilets: one by the box office on the ground floor, one by the gallery entrance to the studio and one on the lower basement floor by the cloakroom. Each of these toilets has an alarmed cord in case of emergencies.
Facilities for the hard of hearing
There is an audio loop for the hard of hearing. We will endeavour to provide signed and captioned performances for most shows, dates for the individual captioned performances are still being decided and will be announced in the near future. Please check back soon for more information.
