Miss Leading LadiesRia Jones is starring in the stunning celebration of some of the greatest grand dames of stage and screen, Miss-Leading Ladies from 5 - 30 August 2015.

1. Do you have a party trick?

I can play the William Tell overture on my teeth ( and no, they’re not false!)

2. Which two people, living or dead, would you most like to invite to a dinner party and why?

Ethel Merman and Judy Garland. I’m sure we’d eat, drink and laugh lots. Then finish off with a big singalong..

3. What is your biggest pet peeve?

Rudeness. Thank you is just two words.

4. Have you got any unusual pre-show rituals?

I never like knowing who’s in the audience before I perform. So ask people not to tell me if they’re in.

5. What’s the worst job you’ve ever had?

I don’t think I’ve had a worst job. Though I guess singing in an open air concert in a muddy field pouring with rain in high heels and long evening gowns wasn’t much fun.

6. If you could have any superpower, what would you choose?

My superpower would be to be able to fly.

7. If you were stranded on a desert island, what item could you not live without?

If I was stranded on a desert island, my one item would be a piano.

8. What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?

I would like to have been a top stylist or a gardener.

9. What do you consider your greatest achievement?

My greatest achievement is never being paid for anything else other than performing.

10. And finally, why should people come and see you perform at the St. James Studio?

If you love a show tune, a torch song. Skilled impersonation and a good laugh. Miss- Leading Ladies is for you!
