In 2011, Laurence was appointed as Artistic Director of the Ustinov Studio, Theatre Royal Bath. Laurence has directed the following plays for the Ustinov Studio: Punishment Without Revenge; A Lady of Little Sense; Fifty Words; The Double (which he also adapted); In the Next Room or the vibrator play; The Surprise of Love; Iphigenia and The Phoenix of Madrid (which he also translated).
Laurence is an Associate Artist of the Royal Shakespeare Company.
