Top Latin Jazz Salsa band Heads South combine dynamic Cuban rhythms with tuneful melodies in a sizzling repertoire of original compositions and classic tunes. This is premium Latin Jazz that thrills both the keen concert listener and the dancefloor lover. The 5 piece Line-up features top UK jazz trumpeter Steve Waterman, Cuban percussionist Chino Martell Morgan, Venezuelan bassplayer Adolfredo Pulido, drummer Buster Birch and is led by keyboardist/composer John Harriman. The Band’s debut album Record Flight received international acclaim and their next album with exciting new material will be released in 2014. In the autumn of 2013 Heads South will play a national tour of Wales for which it has been selected by the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and sponsored by the Arts Council Of Wales.
