7, 8 & 10 October 2013
Acclaimed theatre artist Tim Crouch’s I Cinna (The Poet) interrogates the relationship between words and actions, art and politics, self and society.
Plucked from the pages of Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar, where he is murdered by the mob in a case of mistaken identity, Cinna is placed centre-stage to ask us what words can really do.
Performed by Anthony Gordon Lennox and directed by Barney Norris.
“A very powerful piece indeed” (The Stage)
