Jay Scott & The Find is an exciting new act – infectious indie rock, powerfully pretty pop songs, and a live show that has earned the boys a loyal fan base in the UK and abroad.
Jay’s voice is unique. A fan at Bush Hall tweeted “Jay’s voice a force of nature”. And at The Hospital: “completely mesmerised - haven’t taken my eyes off him for 40 minutes”.
The boys have just completed their first record, with Steve Power (Blur, Robbie Williams, Feeder, Ray LaMontagne, British Sea Power) at the helm, recording at Abbey Road Studios and Angelic Studios. The album will be available in the spring.
Steve Power - no stranger to hit records; with more than 40 million sold - has said “It’s a long time since anyone brought me an unsigned band with a first album of greatest hits”.
Nick Ingman, who arranged strings for the record, has featured Jay Scott & The Find on his website as “one to watch” for 2014.

Swallow and the Wolf are a Suffolk boy and Australian girl playing songs of every day passions, extraordinary moments and unsung heroes. Their sound is a rich mix of driven and picked acoustic guitar, mercurial piano, blended vocal harmonies and heavy drums.
California Gypsies are a London-based four-piece band: guitar, bass, drums and cello. Classifying themselves primarily as Indie Rock, their music is characterised by soaring melodies, thoughtful textures and a strong rhythmic drive.
