Part of St. James Studio Comedy Thursdays
Join Canadian comedian Mae Martin (Russell Howard’s Good News, Radio 4′s “Fresh From the Fringe”) for her brand new show, “Pure Drama”, as she gleefully relives the traumas of puberty and adolescence and attempts to navigate an adulthood that she was fairly convinced would be obliterated by an asteroid in 2012.

Shirley & Shirley are writer/performers Joanna Carolan and Pascale Wilson, and writer/director Michael Pearce. They first performed together in 2008 and have since appeared at the Edinburgh Festival for four consecutive years and numerous other comedy festivals including Latitude, Leicester and Glasgow. Credits include BBC Radio 4’s Sketchorama (2013), filming sketches for Hat Trick Production’s youtube channel ‘Bad Teeth’ (2013), 5 sketches for BBC Online Comedy (2009) and are currently developing a TV sketch show. This duo filter our world through fabulously twisted minds and deliver a ‘mash-up’ of sketch, character and physical comedy. Be prepared for inspired comic observation, top class character creations, and wonderfully dark ideas.
