‘Over the rainbow’ celebrates the career of Harold Arlen in a show which not only showcases his greatest songs but also tells the fascinating life story of one of the greatest 20C popular composers.
Arlen’s biography charts five decades of music from his early days in Harlem’s Cotton club in the 1930’s, to his classic works in Hollywood and on Broadway.
This show recreates eighteen of Arlen’s classic songs including: Get Happy, Stormy Weather, Over the rainbow, The man that got away, and Come rain or come shine,
This is a musically inspired and enthralling show, guaranteed to send you away with a song in your heart!
Starring rising Italian vocal star Rosanna Brandi with musical arrangements by Neal Thornton and accompanied by his versatile quartet.
