Rahila Gupta’s The Shining Path

The Shining Path is a play following Candida, a scientist at the top of her game, a woman in a man’s world. She desperately needs her research project on stem cell therapy to get the green light – only to be told that a citizens’ jury have to okay it before she proceeds. To add insult to injury, the man in charge of presenting the case to the jury turns out to be her charming but vengeful ex- husband.
