Part of St. James Studio Cabaret Weekends
Off The Scale is a rare London appearance for this effortlessly funny musical double act, here accompanied by the hugely talented Michael Roulston on piano.
ShooShooBaby have toured the UK extensively and have also been appreciated by audiences internationally. They have recorded jingles for the Cartoon Network including a new theme tune to Top Cat and all three performers are commissioned composers. Their previous show, The Entire History of Cabaret, which premiered at the Assembly Rooms in Edinburgh, received high praise from audiences and press alike and helped earn the trio their reputation for excellent singing and musicianship.
Off the Scale includes witty new arrangements of well-known songs including Duke Ellington’s Creole Love Call, The Man With the Golden Gun, and Some Like It Hot alongside original music written by the act. In Off the Scale one incredibly lucky gentleman will get the chance to enjoy a slow dance with the ladies. You have been warned!
“What sets ShooShooBaby apart is their musical wit and superb harmony… Tight, clever & totally enjoyable. A sheer delight!” Scotsman****
“A strong company which has plenty more to give” Stage
“There is no doubting the class that oozes out of this act, superb voices and harmonies, pithy repartee, together with their original arrangements make this a hot ticket for a slice of top cabaret” One4review, Edinburgh
