ViolinSchool

13 July 2013
Part of St. James Studio Classical Music Series

12pm Beginner/Intermediate Showcase
2pm Performances by Advanced/Professional Students, Ensembles, and London Violin Orchestra

Tickets can be purchased for the 2pm performance and allow free entry to the 12pm performance

ViolinSchool opened on Palace Street just over one year ago, opposite the St James Theatre. The students and tutors of ViolinSchool return to St James for the third time, with this summer extravaganza featuring the London Violin Orchestra, performances by a wide range of ViolinSchool students, and a premiere of ViolinSchool’s new short film, ‘Why do you play the violin?’.

The 12pm concert showcases ViolinSchool’s Beginner/Intermediate learners, some of whom will be making their first public performance, and at 2pm the Advanced and Professional level students will be performing, along with several ensemble groups and the London Violin Orchestra, who will be playing Bach’s Air on a G String and Gershwin’s Summertime. (Entry to both shows is included with each ticket.)

Come and join ViolinSchool for this wonderful summer celebration of the Violin!
