St. James Theatre Productions Ltd are looking to recruit a Press & Marketing Assistant to provide support to our Press Manager and Marketing Manager during the run up to our Christmas production of Around the World in 80 Days by Jules Verne, in a new adaptation by Laura Eason.
The role is a fixed term contract for start in early September and will terminate on the 18th December 2015. Salary is £14,000 pro rata, dependent on experience.
Whilst the majority of time will be spent on the Christmas production, the successful candidate will also be required to provide press and marketing support for other shows at St. James Theatre. Some experience is preferred, either in a theatre environment or within a press and/or marketing department.

From time to time, and connected to special projects and events, we are happy to offer internship placements for a maximum of 3 months to those aged 18+ to experience a busy theatre environment. You must be a student or graduate of a relevant further education course connected to one of the following departments:
- Press and PR
- Business Development/Partnerships/Sponsorship
- Production Management/Producing
- Theatre Administration
- Design (programmes, posters, etc)
- Event Planning and Management
Please note that these are voluntary unpaid opportunities however travel expenses within the Greater London area will be reimbursed.
