Playwriting Workshop: Writing the Romantic Play

Running Time: 3 hours approx

Do you believe in the power of love? Can you create a romantic scenario that audiences will identify with? This 3 hour writing workshop covers the principles of the romantic play through exercises, technique and a performance of the one-act romantic play Smooth written by course tutor Phil Setren.

Participants will leave with the beginning scenes of a romantic play, along with strong ideas about characters, setting, conflict and play structure. The workshop is suitable for all levels.
