St. James Theatre’s initiative designed to support emerging theatre talent and to start a creative conversation with its audiences, St. James RE:act.
We are inviting applications from writers, musical theatre partnerships, directors and theatre makers in the early stages of their career, to respond to the story, music, themes and characters within Songs For A New World for the next St. James RE:act evening.

Written/devised in 24 hours, rehearsed at quick fire speed and performed on the stage of St. James Studio on Tuesday 28th July in front of a paying audience, these impulsive pieces will be a perfect companion for Jason Robert Brown’s Songs For A New World
